Airflow Technology

Advanced airflow technology via a combination of innovative square weave fabric and/or in-built cooling vents that allows air to flow through to the body and move moisture away, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable.

3M™ SCOTCHLITE™ RETROREFLECTIVE TAPE

These garments have 3M™ Scotchlite™ retroreflective Tape which incorporates patented retroreflection technology. KingGee uses 3M™ Australia Supply tape which means the product is covered by 3M™ Australia’s Total Garment Warranty.

Ripstop Technology

Cotton Ripstop fabric used to make Workcool 2 provides greater air permeability to keep you cool. It also provides increased tear and abrasion resistance to make the garments last longer. Cotton Ripstop makes your workwear cooler, stronger and more comfortable.

Anti-Microbial

A finish that is applied to fabric which inhibits the growth of micro-organisms and reduces odour formation caused by bacteria. Odour reduction improves wearer confidence and comfort.

TEFLON® Stain Release 

A tough stain release treatment that helps remove stains in the wash. Teflon® is a Registered Trademark of DuPont. Only DuPont makes Teflon®.

Moisture Management

Moisture Management treatment wicks moisture away from the body through the fabric. The fabric also dries quicker, which means the wearer is dry and comfortable all day long.

Nano-Tex™

Nano-Tex™ Repels & Releases uses the latest nano-technology to enhance the molecular structure of the fabric fibres. This treatment gives you the confidence of knowing that spilt liquids will roll right off the garment and maintains wearer comfort because it does not alter the fabric’s natural feel and breathability.

Antistatic

Boots with Anti-Static properties are designed to reduce the build up of excess static electricity by conducting body charge to the ground. This offers a level of protection against ignition hazards such as flammable materials and gasses.

 

Thermoactive

A unique fabric technology that actively manages wears temperature by absorbing, storing and releasing excess body heat as needed.

WIDE Safety Toe Cap

Wide profile toe cap provides more comfort. All our safety footwear complies with Australian Standards AS/NZS 2210.3.

TECHNPTEX

 

 Cotton drill which incorporates Teflon® Stain Release to help remove stains in the wash. Technotex™ is a Trademark of KingGee.

Material that uses millions of reflective glass beads to reflect light back towards its original source for increased visibility and safety in low light situations.

Water resistant footwear will repel water so that it soaks in more slowly and are best used when walking through dew or occasionally damp areas.

SRC Slip Resistance 

SRC offers the most superior slip resistance for all surfaces. (Tested on both ceramic tile floor with SLS solution and steel floor with glycerol).

Rubber Outsole 

Rubber offers 300º Celsius (572ºF) heat resistance. Rubber has excellent resistance to oils, acids and is naturally resistant to hydrolysis.

Sole resistant to fuel oil and rated to SRA slip resistance which is tested using water on ceramic tile

 Composite Toe Cap

Composite safety toe caps provide the same level of protection as that afforded by steel toe caps tested under AS/NZS 2210.3:2009 (200 Joules) standards, with the added benefit of being non-conductive and are up to 30% lighter than a steel toe cap. 

BOA

A closure system of steel Lace, nylon guides and a mechanical reel. Improved level of comfort along with durability, light weight, fast and convenient operation, and on-the-fly adjustment.

 Dual Density PU/TPU Outsole

 
Polyurethane (PU) provides an excellent balance of shock absorption (cushioning) and energy return (rebound). Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) has many useful properties including elasticity and resistance to most oil, grease and abrasion, as well as 130° degree Celsius heat resistance.

ARZ+ Pad Technology

Anatomical Rebound Zone (ARZ+) with an expandable polymer that provides excellent cushioning and rebound. ARZ+ heel protection difference is apparent at heel strike the soft contouring material dissipates force upon impact.

Dri-Lex

UPF Rating

An Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating for Ultraviolet Radiation transmitted through a fabric onto the skin. Look for garments with a UPF 50+ rating to be assured of excellent protection. All fabrics used in our UPF rated garments have been tested to AS/NZS 4399:1996 and meet the requirements to the updated standard AS/NZS 4399:2017.

Built-in stretch providing comfort and freedom of movement.

Reinforced

Extra reinforcement fabric has been added to the garment at critical areas for durability.

Airflow
